PRESS RELEASE     11^th September 2013

         “AUAN PROJECT FOR SCHOOLAR YEAR 2013-2014” 

AUAN project for school year 2013 – 2014 will include 18 beneficiaries. 

Criteria for selection of beneficiaries are:

–          School performance – described below;

–          The applicant should be aged between 6 and 19 years;

–          Net income / family member is less than 500 RON; 

Starting this school year, AUAN introduced three new categories of supports to beneficiaries – depending on their school performance, as follow:

–          SCHOLARSHIP – 9 beneficiaries;

–          MATERIAL AND FINANCIAL AID – five beneficiaries;

–          Specific actions – four beneficiaries.

I. SCHOLARSHIP – for beneficiaries:

–          Having average for last semester completed between 9 and 10, and for those in classes I-IV grade FB – very good;

–          Average 10 rated FB respectively, to carriage;

–          To any discipline the average is not less than 7 or grade B.

Scholarships are based on:

– Monthly amount depending on level of education, as follow:

– I – IV Grade: 150 RON / month => 1500 RON / school year;

– V – VIII Grade: 175 RON / month => 1750 RON / school year;

– IX – XII Grade: 200 RON / month => 2000 RON / school year;

– Easter and Christmas gifts;

– Occasional donations made by AUAN members and supporters.

II. MATERIAL AND FINANCIAL AID – for beneficiaries:

–          Having average last semester ended between 8 and 9, and for those in classes I-IV graduated with grades rated B or FB;

–          Average 10 rated FB respectively, to carriage;

Financial support is based on:

–          Monthly amount depending on level of education, as follow:

• I – IV Grade: 100 RON / month => 100 RON / school year;
• V – VIII Grade: 125 RON / month => 1250 RON / school year;
• IX – XII Grade: 150 RON / month => 1500 RON / school year;

–          Easter and Christmas gifts;

–          Occasional donations made by AUAN members and supporters. 

III. Specific actions – for beneficiaries which have:

–          School results are below of these specified in categories I and II or slightly exceeded net income / family member but have good results at school or in addition to very good school results, they also have a special talent;

–          They average 10 rated FB respectively, to wear;

–          No unjustified school absences. 

Support is based on:

• Occasionally – to support a talent, if school grades are included in the “scholarship” – decision taken by the General Assembly or Board of AUAN;
• Occasionally – in case of emergencies, decision taken by the Board of AUAN – an amount equal to or less than 500 RON / year if the grade average is below 8;
• Easter and Christmas gifts;
• Occasional donations made by members and supporters AUAN.

To stimulate performance school growth, the case of each beneficiary will be evaluated at the end of the first semester. If occurs changes from contract points (ie, grade average is now greater than 9), the beneficiary can go into another support category, based on an addendum. 

New beneficiaries will be chosen only if it belongs to the category “Scholarships”. 

Amount of money allotted for beneficiaries are strictly for their needs, especially for school performance growing. The AUAN case responsible together with the beneficiary has the obligation to consider the needs of its priorities, to give consent over the purchases made by the beneficiary and in maximum two days to settle the invoice received from the customer, the invoice that proved the agreed acquisition  (according to the contract concluded between AUAN and beneficiary). 

The entire activity is conducted under the contract between AUAN individual and beneficiary, contract that describes: contract purpose, its duration and obligations of the parties. 

At Christmas and Easter all beneficiaries enrolled in “AUAN Project for 2013-2014 school year”, numbering 18 so far, will receive gifts based on food, sweets, and fruits and so on, in the amount of 150 RON / Easter / beneficiary and 150RON /Christmas / beneficiary. 

“AUAN project for school year 2013 – 2014” takes place over a period of 10 months, starting with September 2013.
