AUAN BONUS for beneficiaries who are high school graduates

According to its status, AUAN ends the collaboration with the beneficiaries who finish their 12th grade. On this occasion AUAN offers them a 1000 lei bonus to cover a part of their future expenses. We have had at least one such case every year so far, and this year, 2017, there are two girls we end our collaboration with:

GeorgianaGeorgiana – who has benefited from the AUAN project since the 2nd semester of the schoolyear 2016-2017 – graduated from The Pedagogical High School of Sibiu with the average 9.52 and has become a student of the Faculty of Psychology of Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu.

AndreeaAndreea – who has benefited from the AUAN project since 2013 – graduated from Gheorghe Lazar High School with the average 9.36 and has become a student of the School of Economics (Finance & Banking).

Andreea agreed to our making part of her thank-you letter public, just to give you an idea of what it means to support teenagers and youths when they need it most:

With regard to my experience with AUAN I would like to mention how grateful I am for the fact that I could start my high school years with your financial and moral support! Looking back I do not think I would have been able to reach this point in my personal development without getting to know a person like you and the unconditioned help offered by the AUAN members. Moreover, both my personal development and support for my family would not have been the same.

As one of the AUAN beneficiaries I have learned to become more responsible with my actions and expenses and I realised that, no matter whether I was a top student in my class or not, I had to work steadily to deserve the scholarship and learn to offer to others in my turn. I have also become more aware of the importance of perseverance in developing talent and of a helping hand when you are down.

Both my parents and I are very grateful for your invaluable help all through these four years and I would be honoured to return this service somehow when I have my own job or do volunteer work for AUAN whenever necessary.

We wish you best of health, great achievements and the necessary strength to make other industrious students happy, too.

Yours grateful,

Andreea Dobrota

AUAN beneficiary 2013-2017
