The 2014 campaign “We Believe in You” has been a success.

This year, 2014, the campaign “We Believe in You” – launched by AUAN and the International Youth Association “Become” – ended with two performances of high artistic quality, having thus been highly appreciated by the audience. The shows were housed by the Thalia Hall of Sibiu in December 12 and 14, the latter being sold out more than a week in advance.
We meant this event to be one of reference and we are entitled to claim that it is on the point of becoming tradition for our town.

The director of the show, Radu Nechifor, is a well-known artist, both nationally and internationally for his great shows and the awarded prizes. What we greatly appreciate about him are his generous character and remarkable personality.

We are grateful to and thank all the invited artists, who have made proof of exquisite talent and great generosity by participating in this show. We respectfully mention: Oana Andra – first opera soloist at the National Opera of Bucharest – a frequent presence on prestigious stages worldwide, Alexandru Petrovici – professor at the National University of Music in Bucharest, entered collaborations with world-famous singers, Anatoly Vocal Group from Brasov, Mihai Teaca from Fagaras, Dreamcatchers, Magic Band, Sebastian Stan, Anca Marginean, Maria Cojocaru, Vlad Simon, the group Mee and Mary, Luana Prodea and Dominique Simionescu.The show was presented by the well-known TV presenter Nicollr Stanese Cioltea.

A touching moment of the December 14-show was the awarding of a Diploma of Excellence AUAN and a prize of excellence (5,000 RON) offered by Mr. Helmut Detschelt – Vancouver, Canada- Honorary Member of AUAN. The prize was awarded to Alexandra Canciu, a 12th-grade student at the “Gheorghe Lazar” High School of Sibiu, for the first prize at the National Olympics of German as a foreign language.

The ticket fees and donations made on this occasion amounted to 19,137 RON (11,160 + 7,977). This money will be used for the financial support of industrious children (with financial problems) in their educational progress, thus reassuring them in their preparation with a view to achieving their goals in life.
