Sibiu 3^rd of December 2013 

The “Charitable Association Alexandra Nanu” – AUAN together with the International Association for Youth “Become” launches the campaign “We believe in you” which ends with a concert performed by Radu Nechifor, Magic Band, Sebastian Stan, Dreamcatcher, Maria Cojocaru and Vlad Simon, but also special guests like Anca Maria Mărginean, Luana Prodea and Dominique Simionescu. The show will be presented by Nicolle Stănese Cioldea. All together, the artists and the organizers have been involved to this project without any financial expectation, being motivated by supporting the Sibiu youths’ education. 

Starting with this year, at the end of the campaign “We believe in you”   – which we expect to become a tradition in Sibiu – AUAN will give a Certificate of Excellence and an prize to a youth from Sibiu, no matter of his financial case, which has been noticed in Sibiu with exceptional scholar grades / behaves / standings and so on. We reward the excellence, AUAN beneficiaries, but not only. 

This year the Certificate of Excellence and the Prize – which will be a Gold Medal in amount of 1330 CAD given to Miss Camelia Oprea, “Samuel von Brukenthal” High School student, for her remarkable grades gained to National and International Olympiads in mathematics. 

The reward is not given from the AUAN’s budget, but is offered by one of AUAN’s Canadian honored member, which will be part of the event and will be in Romania after 40 years.
